- Imagine LAN releases the first recovery utility that can identify and remove system components that are causing problems, WHILE leaving working components intact. Kirk Olsen discusses Imagine LAN's Config Safe 4.0, the latest version of their award-winning data recovery software. Config Safe's new version uses two system-tracking mechanisms. The first takes scheduled snapshots of the system configuration. The second tracks all changes to the registry and file system whenever new hardware or software is installed.
